How To Write A Cover Letter For A Resume Examples | How To ...

By admin | June 5, 2012

I am writing a cover letter and resume for an accounting internship but I was wondering if I should include my previous Bachelors degree that has nothing to do/ not relevant to accounting and if I should list my jobs that are not relevant. As far as I know it looks like the examples are just jobs like internships or closely related jobs that are relevant to the internship. So I have no jobs that are relevant to the accounting internship so I put nothing? I was also wondering how to write the cover letter since I have no experience in that field as well and I am trying to get started.

1. You should mention all qualifications and experience, whether relevant or not, in your resume for accounting internship. First write the relevant ones and then the other ones.2. This will show your total personality.3. COVER LETTER:3.1 A cover letter is an important part of the application process in many industries. It gives prospective employers a snapshot of your skills, your personality and your experience. 3.2 Successful letters create a sense of interest and curiosity for hiring managers. When you have an excellent resume preceded by a compelling cover letter, you boost your chances of getting an interview, which could lead to a job. 3.3 A cover letter tells the prospective employer who you are, why you are sending your resume and what you can do for the company. The cover letter is also a device you use to show the employer your writing skills and attention to detail. If you misspell a word, make a grammatical error or commit a typographical error, it might hurt your chances of getting an interview.3.4 For details, please read at:http://www.ehow.com/info_8215627_cover-letter-sending-resume.html#ixzz1wKhxxmGy.
